bellagio roomprototype

a prototype room for a hospitality project on lake como: one room of the floor, framed on the plan, designed in full as the model for the others.

natural indian cane and wood furniture, a screen of woven leather belts that parts the sleeping area without closing it, a suspension lamp, wooden shingles on the walls, an illuminated twin-sink set and a venetian terrazzo floor of soft, rounded shapes. warm, tactile materials, chosen for the hand as much as for the eye.
